Diving Training and Certification
We are the premier diving location in the Lehigh Valley. We have the capacity, know-how, and facilities to serve new divers taking their first plunge as well as seasoned pros looking to take their skills to the next level.
Our Location
Lake Hydra has a long history serving the diving community. What began as a flooded quarry is now a haven for divers looking for exceptional water clarity and beautiful conditions.
Our Team
Owners Jim Folk and Ken Kraft are keeping diving in The Valley. With decades of collective experience between them, our ownership team is focused on creating a place for divers, by divers.
How we operate
Diving with a Divemaster
When Lake Hydra opens, all divers will be required to be accompanied by a certified and insured dive professional (instructor or divemaster). We are primarily a location for diver training and certification, so approaching your local scuba center is the recommended first step to visiting Lake Hydra.
If you are a dive Master, instructor, scuba center, or are organizing a training event in another capacity you will be able to purchase tickets for each attendee.
If you are looking for scuba training in the area, we recommend our partners over at Atlantis Aquatics in Bethlehem, PA.
